I have found some of my assignments and exams from long ago. They may not be that relevant, but I've posted them here (old assignments) and here (old exams) .
Topics
(As in the course outline here ), there are two main subject areas for the course : game theory, and general equilibrium. I expect to spend about the first two months of the course on these two areas (about 1 month each). The last month of the course will be : social choice, public godds, preference revelation mechanisms, optimal income taxation.
Most of the material I cover will be taken from the textbook : Mas-Colell, Whinston and Green : MICROECONOMIC THEORY, Oxford University Press, 1995. The two main areas covered will be Part Two of the book (chapters 7, 8 and 9) on game theory, and Part Four (chapters 15 -- 20) on general equilibrium. Social choice is covered in chapter 21, and pure public goods in chapter 11.
